TLT ~ Headcount

Deia, you shall get your wish! (She wanted The Secret Temple of the Bibliophile Knights to be used more and it will since we have a lot of organizing to do for our novels). Originally I was going to start TLT’s second headcount in October but since I was so busy with school I never got fully done organizing in time. Now that we have somewhere private to discuss such matters, I think it very appropriate to discuss the headcount.

First off ~ how much time allotted for headcount?
* Is one month long enough?

I think a month should give people enough time to say if they want to be in TLT or not. Sorry I havent been posting yet in the blog! But I will.

A month sounds like plenty of time to me. That should give peple who are still interested ample time to respond.

I thought one month would be good enough but I wanted to hear opinions in case anyone had a different idea. I mean, anyone who is interested in a novel would log on at least once a month (hopefully a lot more than just once a month though!), so they would be able to respond to the headcount in time. What should we do if members who were removed want to rejoin the novel? Should we put them on some kind of probation to see how active and committed they will be?

Yeah, probation sounds good...though we don't want to discourage them either...

Yes, I know I can be a bit harsh but I’ll try not to discourage members, unless we really don’t want them to join, okay? Though I think probation is a good idea because they’ll have to prove that they’ll be active.

So, the probation is agreed upon? Oh, if we do the probation, how long should the probation be and should there be any rules considering the probation? I want to know this kind of information before the headcount starts.
